Do you prescribe medications?
While medications are not our primary form of treatment, we are licensed primary care providers within the state of California and use prescription medication when appropriate and necessary.
Do you offer in-person appointments?
Yes, we would love to see you at our office in San Diego, California. We are conveniently located near the airport for those traveling in from out of state! Our address is 1239 Scott Street, San Diego, CA 92106.
Do you take insurance?
We do not take insurance for our services; however, we will provide you with a superbill upon request to submit to insurance for reimbursement. We also strive to use your insurance for labs and medications when applicable.
Do you offer virtual consultations?
YES! We do offer virtual consultations via phone and a HIPAA secured video platform. If you elect to do a virtual consultation, you will receive a link to join the video call within your confirmation email.
Do you draw labs in office?
Blood draws can be scary! We find that everyone does best when the blood is taken in a place that feels safe and familiar! Therefore, we are contracted with an amazing Rady’s trained phlebotomist who will perform the blood draw in the comfort of your own home! If you’d prefer to have your blood drawn in the office, special accommodations can be made.
Does my child need to be present for the visit?
Your child does NOT need to be present for your first visit; however, we ask that your child is present for at least 10 minutes within the first two visits. It is important for us to attain thorough and accurate information about your child’s presenting symptoms. If you feel that you can discuss your child’s symptoms openly with them present, they may be present for as much of the visit as they are willing and able to attend. If you feel that your child’s presence will negatively impact your ability to provide a detailed history, we ask that they are not present for the initial visit. Ultimately, we want to create a safe and caring space for your child while still eliciting all information necessary in order for us to determine the most appropriate treatment.
